Mendocino College Baseball Sweeps College of the Redwoods in Season-Opening Series
Mendocino College Baseball opened the spring season with a strong weekend, sweeping College of the Redwoods in three games.
The Eagles opened the series with an 8–4 win on Opening Day, setting the tone early. Mendocino followed with a Saturday doubleheader, winning game one 13–9 and closing the series with an 11–1 win in the finale.
Mendocino's offense stayed consistent throughout the series, applying pressure and producing timely hits, while the pitching staff limited scoring opportunities and controlled the tempo of each game.
The sweep gives Mendocino a 3–0 start to the season and provides early momentum as the team continues its spring schedule.
