Mendocino College has been competing in intercollegiate athletics since 1973. In 2005, a Hall of Fame committee was established lead by then AD, Skip Hunter. In February of 2006, MC hosted its first ever induction ceremony. Since then, there have a total of 10 induction ceremonies, all held at the beautiful Barra of Mendocino Event Center.
